We love that we don't have to make daily trips to the dumpster or have a pile of poo bags in our trash can inside. The litter genie is fantasic - just scoop and toss the pee clumps and poo inside, pull the drawer and the waste falls into the bottom, keeping the smell and yuck trapped inside until your ready to take out the trash. We prefer the orginal genie size, but it does come in an XL too. We just think the larger one is a bit more cumbersome to empty because there is more waste in the bag. Just like any bathroom accessory, you will want to clean your genie from time to time or it gets a little gross. Also, it's best to keep one next to each litter box. You don't want to have to carry it around to each box in the house, the top and bottom pop apart easily. It doesn't spill out waste or anything when that happens, it is just annoying.

We love that this can keep kitty entertained when we're not home. Cats who love laser pointers enjoy this toy. We also love the automatic shut-off feature and rechargeable battery.

Pill pockets makes pill time easier if your cat will eat their pill in these yummy treats. It is designed to put a pill inside and just pinch the top of the treat closed to seal it in. Many cats do get wise to this quickly and will eat the pill pocket and leave the pill behind, so we recommend only using enough to wrap the pill and not use too much excess. Therefore you may want to break them in half and just mold it around the pill. Some cats still figure it out, so it may not work forever for every cat, but it's definitely worth trying. We love that pill pockets come in several flavors including salmon, chicken and even catnip.

Expensive, but worth every penny. We have 3 cats. Two are on different prescription diets and one is a little McFatty who wants to eat all the food in the house. So these have been a lifesaver to make sure our two cats are only eating their own prescription diet and can eat at their own pace while preventing our little goblin from eating all of their food.

This wand toy is a bit large and cumbersome for our taste, but we really love the little worm attachments. Kitties love the way they wiggle around and you will need all five because cats love to hunt and pounce on these little worms, so they do tear apart after a while.

A piller is a helpful tool for cats who are really resistent to taking their medication. It works as a sort-of extended finger so that you can get the pill to the back of their throat without having to put your finger in kitty's mouth. It takes some practice to get the hang of using one, so be patient with yourself. You'll get it!

Cats being cats, some smarty pants have learned that if the designated cat is actively eating out of their designated bowl, smart pants can sneak in from the back and grab some grub while it's open. This cover prevents them from doing that. Haha, outsmarted! (for now...)

We love this enrichment feeder. Any feeder that makes kitty work for their meal is great! We love that this comes with two sizes of lids so it works for both small and large treats. It also comes apart easily making this very easy to clean.

We like having at least one set of extra ice packs for our feeder so that while one set is in use within the feeder, the other can be kept frozen and ready to go for the next use.

This is our favorite teaser wand, by far. It's a little pricey, but this toy is made well and is very durable, so it lasts for a very long time. Cats seem to really love it. Something about the way the cord moves make cats go crazy! They love running, chasing and jumping after the kitty whip. There's a little spring that holds the cord to the wand and we think this design is what give it that whip-like motion that cats love. We like that you can choose either a leather cord or a braided rope cord, because some cats like one more than the other. The wand is also the perfect length, not to long, so it's easy to play with and also to store away.

Eating and drinking from plastic bowls can exacerbate chin acne in cats, so we always prefer non-porous bowls. So it's nice to have a few extras for our feeder.

The dual lids keep pests like flies out of kitty's food until the next meal and also keeps kitty from eating all their food at once.

We love this because cats love attacking the butterfly. But we would never pay more than $10 for this toy because the butterfly wings tear off so easily, it never lasts long. You can't really replace the attachment because the butterfly's body is glued to the wire. Our workaround is to jimmy-rig another attachment to the wire once the butterfly has died so we can still use the wand.

An alternative to the OneFastCat cat wheel. This toy takes a lot of purrent patience, this isn't something your call will learn to use overnight. But teaching your cat how and encouraging them to use it is a really great bonding activity between cat and human. Once kitty has mastered the wheel, this is a toy they can utilize on their own too. It's really fullfilling to see your cat enjoying their wheel after spending the time and putting in the work to teach them to use it. Like seeing your toddler take their first steps! Except better, because it's a cat. ;-)

The erratic movement of the wire really makes cats go wild! They love these attachments for some reason. We love it comes with 3 attachments because cats really destroy them quickly (and we love that about them!). The wire gets tangled after a lot of use, but it lasts long enough to feel we got our money's worth.

We love the motion-activated feature not only because it saves bettery life, but also because it really catches kitty's attention and engages playtime when they walk by it. This toy is great to turn on when you leave the house to give kitty some extra stimulation.

Some cats are indifferent about crinkle tunnels, but cats that love them REALLY love them! Try out one and if your kitty digs it, they might like a few different kinds to hide in, run through, play and wrestle in. Some cats also love when their humans run a feather wand or another toy along the tube to make that "crinkle" sound and have a blast attacking the toy through the little windows.

Some cats could care less about these, but other cats really love them! One of our kitties will carry her mice around and leave them in various spots, and sometimes gives them "swimming lessons" in her water bowl (so cute!). Another one of our kitties likes when we toss them down the hall so she can chase them. These mice are very budget-friendly so definitely worth trying out.

Fountains are a great way to get your cat to drink more water. Know that not every cat will love a fountain, but luckily many do! When choosing a fountain, we recommend ceramic or stainless steel as they are much easier to clean than plastic. We also recommend fountains that have an open water source like this one, so if they power goes out, kitty still has access to the water. Do know that there is maintenance invovled with any fountain. Fountains should be washed often and you will need to clean a few parts of the motor regularly to prevent gunky build-up from clogging the motor. You also will need to replace filters at least monthly. Cool tip: If residue builds up on your fountain, such as from hard water, just soak the fountain in vinegar for an hour or so and it should wipe right off.

We love that you can portion kitty's kibble among this set and hide them around for kitty to hunt. We're big fans of enrichment feeders of any kind. These are a little cumbersome to clean, but are great for satisfying kitty's hunting instinct.

We are big fans of any teaser wand that has a wire because the erratic motion of the wire seems to really appeal to cats. We love this one in particular because the wire is very strudy, so it still has the same motion but does not tangle like other wire wands. The only downside is that it does not have replaceable attachments, so once kitty has destroyed the feathers, you either have to get creative or get a new one.

Cats who love playing in forts really seem to love the ripple rug. They'll burrow under it and bat at toys through the holes, or lay on top and attack a teaser wand when their humans wiggle it underneath. It also works great for hiding a few treats or toys in that kitty enjoys "hunting". We were skeptical at first because it does take up a god amount of floor space and is a little pricey, but after seeing kitties love it time and time again, we put our stamp of approval on the Ripple Rug.

If your cat likes catnip, you will never be disappointed with a Yeowww! toy. I don't know what makes their catnip different, but cats love it immediately and it never seems to go stale. Meaning no matter how much your cat chews and slobbers all over this toy, they'll still love it. Our Yeowww! rainbow is over 2 years old and looks like garbage now, but the cats still play with it all the time.

These discs tend to find every nook and cranny in the house during playtime, so having extras is always great!

It feels silly to us to pay extra for the brand name pads when these work just as well and cost 30% less. We also like that they come in quantities of 30 instead of only 10 per pack.

There are several reasons why you may want to use these. If kitty has to take a pill that is known to taste terrible (like Cerenia), hiding the pill in one of these capsules can mask the taste so that you can pill it easier or even hide it in a treat or food. If kitty takes multiple pills, you can put them all in one capsule so you only have to pill your cat one time for all their pills. I've also used these for liquid medication that tastes bad, but you have to be really quick if using for liquids because the capsule starts to dissolve quickly when wet. These capsules come in several sizes, so be sure to measure your pills and refer to the size chart to make sure it will fit your intended purpose.

We like this enrichment feeder, but it may be a little simple for very smart kitties. It is a great starter puzzle feeder for beginners though. It is also dishwasher safe making this very easy to clean.

Kid's toys sometimes make great cat toys! Kitties love chasing these foam discs around and it's a fun bonding activity for cats and purrents.
